After a few short years working in the equine assisted learning industry as a coach, I lost my equine partner, Thunder, at age 34 years young. It was devastating. It was so difficult to go to the barn, to the arena, anywhere that was part of our coaching area. I felt lost, vulnerable and inadequate.
